The Data and Software Centre lets you download state-wide spatial datasets, geology series map data, resources such as Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) software (including user guides and videos where available), and documentation on map services provided by DMIRS.
Each dataset compressed file contains the following:

To facilitate the automated downloading of dynamic datasets, this document contains URLs to assist in this process.
Click on the "What's new" tab to see new releases.
Click on the "Datasets" tab to see datasets and resources that are available to download, or access information about a range of available map services.
Type a keyword in the search tool on the right to search for specific datasets.
The nightly process to update dynamic datasets is scheduled to be completed by approximately 2 am following each business day
Please note: The zipfiles containing shapefiles for Minedex, Operating Mines and Abandoned Mines downloads have been updated to adhere to current naming conventions
For shapefile format downloads the following changes to the zipfile name have occurred
For downloads of all formats of Major Resource Projects and Operating Mines the following name change has occurred
MajResProj.zip and MajResProj_<format>.zip updated to Major_Resource_Projects_<format>.zip
OperatingMines.zip and OperatingMines_<format>.zip updated to Operating_Mines_<format>.zip
Both old and updated zipfile names for the above datasets will continue to be available for a period of 3 months up until Tuesday 9th April 2019. At which the old zipfile names will be retired and only the new zipfiles names will be available for download.

WA Geoscience Web Map Service updated to include the 1:100 000 State interpreted bedrock geology of Western Australia layers. To accommodate for the addition of these layers it will be necessary to re-add the map service URL to reflect the new 1:100 000 layers and layer id changes.
